Just a quick note to compliment one of your CareGiver’s Pam. Pam takes excellent care of our resident, and when she discovered an open area on her coccyx, she immediately asked that I come look at the area. There was a small open area so I notified the residents Home Health Nurse(RN). Pam’s attention to detail avoided a small issue from becoming a very large problem. Thank you for sending Allegro such well trained staff!

Sometimes we get so involved in our own little world we don’t stop to think about others, and how they contribute to the comfort we enjoy in life. However, during this holiday season, I want to stop and let you know how grateful I am for your kindness and care. There are so many of you there that I need to thank, it is difficult to know where to start. For almost a year now, you have been a big part of my life and my mother’s life.
First, Allison was there to assist when my mother was unable to do anything for herself while, in the hospitals, she was moved around to for three months this past year. Allison was always there to listen to me and provide the skilled care mother needed. When we thought mother could have her care level changed I met Debbie. Oh, Debbie, you have saved me on so many occasions, you have listened to me talk endlessly and in the end did just what I needed. Your job title does not describe what all you do for me and my family.
Our caregivers are the best. As my mother sinks further and further in dementia, her world is often confused. However, as long as Gloria is there, all is right with her world. My mother is one of the most stubborn people you have ever met, but Gloria can get her to do things no one else can. Her quiet nature is very comforting to mother. She always knows the right way to handle situations, and the right thing to say to mother. Tanzia is mother’s greatest defender. She wants to protect her from people who are not kind and people who try to insult her, thinking she doesn’t understand what they are saying. Matuer beyond her years, Tanzia is a charming and sweet spirit whose humor entertains mother for hours. Bonita has suffered through my mother. She has always been patient and kind with mother and has overlooked her nasty disposition in dealing with mother. She is always disappointed when mother has already gone to bed, because she wanted to talk with her a little. Raumonde has been gentle but firm and had coaxed mother through some unpleasant situations. She in always kind to mother, but she too has seen that nasty side that comes from time to time. Others have been with us from time to time: Winnie and Debbie and maybe others I cannot remember now.
Everyone had been helpful when help was nowhere to be found. You have been my second set of eyes, my organizers, helpers and my firm foundation when mother is confused about where she is and where she lives. You have provided the right care at the right time and in the right way for mother.
I am so grateful for your assistance to make mother’s life comfortable. My brother, my sisters and I thanks you for everything that you do and contribute to making my mother’s days bright.
