I wanted to give a special thank you to Frances. She’s gone above and beyond the call of duty to serve, and more importantly, be a friend of my parents. Frances always has a smile and a laugh, and always brightens their day, and she’s one of the key reasons they have thrived while staying at home while enduring a medical episode. One day in particular, I vividly recall receiving a call from you, alerting me to my dad’s problems (which eventually sent him to the hospital), and I am so grateful that Frances was there to help him and calm him down during his time of need. My mom said that Frances has a calming way about her, and that she’s a natural for this job — it’s perfect for her. I agree with my mom. Frances has been a blessing to them, and to me. She has given me peace of mind, that I can go about my business here in Maryland, knowing that Frances is an integral part of their homecare plan.
And you, Laura — you’ve been a wonderful nurse/director/guide over the past 14 months. Always there for our family when we need you, which isn’t very often — thanks to the competence of the people you hire and train. I credit the excellence service we receive from Home Instead – Annandale – to you! You have no idea how much better and superior Home Instead Annandale’s caretakers are to several other services we have used. Again, that’s such a nice reflection upon you. And your office staff is also wonderful; always accommodating and responsive to our family’s changing needs. Home Instead, Annandale, is a top-notch operation. Thank you for being there for us over these past 14 months. We are forever grateful.

For example, when I fell and cut myself last year, the office immediately sent someone to take me (us), to a doctor. The courteous office staff has been most helpful, and attentive to our needs with a pleasant monthly quality assurance visit. Overall, this wonderful service has lightened the burden on our children, enabling their visits with us to be more social occasions, rather than having to perform tasks and run errands.
I unreservedly recommend Home Instead to anyone with limited capability and no mobility and like Joan and I.
